A tiny sliver of heaven on earth, our first camp at Leh is located near the Manali-Leh highway next to a quaint little Ladakhi village Chuchot (Pronounced: Chu-sh-ot), 8 kms before the main city of Leh. Surrounded by farmlands owned by local villagers, the campsite provides a panoramic view of the Zanskar mountain range, while offering a unique opportunity to reconnect with nature, and by extension, your inner self. The soft gurgling of the stream at the camp after the incessant roar of your machine is sure to calm your nerves and prepare you for your next adventure.\n\nTo really appreciate the sights, sounds and smells it?s best to get out and explore your surroundings as much as you can. See the Shey Palac, Stakna Monastery and Thiksey Monastery from the campsite, take a bath in the pure, mystic waters of River Indus nearby, or just walk around the verdant plains.
