A product of two of the most prestigious Design schools in India, Maithili Kabre Mandal is an alumnus of the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad and Sir J.J. College of Architecture, Mumbai. A trained architect, backed by a post graduation in Lifestyle Accessory Design from NID, the varied influences of her background show in her work, as is the constant effort to re-invent and challenge traditional perception of jewellery, evident in each collection.\n\nRetailing hand-made jewellery since 2004, she established her label of fashion jewellery ?Swa? in 2009 after graduating in Lifestyle Accessory Design from NID. Maithili Kabre Jewellery is a step further in the direction in pursuit of design & realization of exquisite, stand-out jewellery.
